Why We Started Writing
For a long time, the advice we gave stayed in conference rooms and email threads. An agency would call with a staffing problem or a compliance question, we’d dig in, and whatever we learned went straight into the fix. It never made it anywhere else.
That changes now.
What This Blog Is About
We’re going to write about the stuff that keeps EMS leaders up at night. Not abstract industry trends. The actual, specific problems that come up when you’re running an agency.
- Compliance traps that catch agencies off guard during audits
- Operations decisions that look small but compound over months
- Technology choices that either save time or create more work
- Revenue problems that hide in plain sight inside your billing data
Who We’re Writing For
If you run an EMS agency, manage operations, or sit in leadership meetings where the same problems keep showing up on the agenda, this is for you. We’re not writing for academics or policy wonks. We’re writing for the people who have to make things work with the staff and budget they actually have.
What You Won’t Find Here
Buzzwords. Vague recommendations. Theory that sounds great in a textbook but falls apart on a Monday morning when you’re short three trucks and two supervisors called out.
Everything we write comes from something we’ve actually dealt with. If we haven’t seen it firsthand, we’ll say so.
If there’s something you’d like us to dig into, reach out. We’d rather write about your real problems than guess at what matters.
